Sex trade survivors, organisations and parliamentarians from around the world came together to share experiences and discuss strategies for ending demand for prostitution and sex trafficking. The need for all countries to adopt the Sex Buyer Law was at the heart of the discussions.

UK MP Gavin Shuker, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Prostitution and the Global Sex Trade, spoke about recent developments in the UK, including the publication earlier this year of the APPG’s report, Shifting the Burden. The report calls for the adoption of the Sex Buyer Law in the UK.
